Typical Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Light Rigid (LR) / Delivery Driver 

   • Licence: Light Rigid (covers small trucks, vans, 4-8 tonne GVM).

   • Job Description: Focuses on local, short-haul deliveries, courier work, or service vehicles. Often requires high-volume drop-offs, customer service, and loading/unloading goods.

   • Key Tasks: Punctual delivery, documenting deliveries, navigating local traffic, and basic vehicle cleaning. 

   2. Medium Rigid (MR) / Local Driver 

   • Licence: Medium Rigid (2 axles, >8 tonne GVM).

   • Job Description: Involves delivering goods within a local area or region, often operating tip trucks, garbage trucks, or curtain-siders.

   • Key Tasks: Operating hydraulic tipping or lifting devices, managing cargo loads, and adhering to strict delivery schedules. 

   3. Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver 

   • Licence: Heavy Rigid (3+ axles, >8 tonne GVM).

   • Job Description: Operates heavy trucks, including large concrete agitators, heavy tippers, or large tray trucks, usually for construction or local freight tasks.

   • Key Tasks: Securing heavy machinery or bulk materials, navigating construction sites, and specialized loading techniques.
